ASSIST  ASSIST Sheffield is currently the only Sheffield Charity focused on destitution among asylum seekers.

BENS CENTRE  A place of stability for Sheffield’s street drinkers.

BIG ISSUE NORTH  A registered charity providing support and services to Big Issue vendors in the North.

BROOMHILL BREAKFAST  Every Friday morning between 8.00 and 10.00am breakfast is served by volunteers from St Mark’s, St Andrew’s and other churches. 

CATHEDRAL ARCHER PROJECT  The Cathedral Archer Project (CAP) is a day centre supporting the homeless and vulnerable in Sheffield.
CAP works with the homeless and vulnerable in Sheffield to help them find pathways away from homelessness and exclusion. 

CITY OF SANCTUARY  The City of Sanctuary is a movement to build a culture of welcome and hospitality for refugees and asylum-seekers. 

SHEFFIELD DACT  The Sheffield DACT are a strategic team responsible for commissioning drug and alcohol treatment services in Sheffield.  

NORTHERN REFUGEE CENTRE  Improves the lives of refugees, new migrants and people seeking asylum in Yorkshire and Humberside.

SAFE AT LAST  Is a registered charity based in Dinnington, Sheffield, working with and on behalf of young people at risk through running away.

SALVATION ARMY  Offer practical support, unconditional friendship and practical help to people of all ages, backgrounds and needs. 

SHEFFIELD RAG  RAG is a working committee of the Sheffield Student’s Union who organise fundraising events over the academic year.

ST MARKS SOUP RUN    Soup Run is a service provided by St Marks Church to homeless people in the area. Soup, sandwiches and clothes are provided every Saturday evening. Meet in St Mark’s at 5:30pm to prepare the food then we go to Eldon St Car Park (just off West Street in Sheffield city centre) at 6:30pm and stay for an hour serving food and talking to those who come. After washing up, we are usually finished by 8.00pm.

ST WILFRID’S CENTRE   St Wilfrid’s Centre is open to all vulnerable adults aged between 18-65 years old.  We have a skilled staff team offering basic welfare services and activities to promote a person’s wellbeing and independence. 

VOLUNTARY ACTION SHEFFIELD Offer support for voluntary organisations, training, information and support for people who want to get involved in volunteering. 

THE SUNDAY CENTRE is a Sunday lunch project which offers a safe, social space for homeless and other vulnerable people.  The Centre is at Victoria Methodist Church, George Street, Sheffield S1 on Sundays.
