A big THANK YOU to each and everyone of you, donors and volunteers for helping support HARC this Christmas. With your help and support, over the eight days that the HARC project was open, we served just over 2,000 meals with the help of 80 volunteers each day. Around 100 guests each day received warmth companionship and even entertainment over this vital period.
In addition, this year we had visiting partner volunteers from the Opiates Service, the Good Samaritans and other professional services including a dentist, GP, podiatrist and community massage therapist.
Pulling together the HARC project requires a huge amount of work behind the scenes to enable the project to get off the ground, so an extended thank you to everyone who helped prior to the project start in a wide variety of ways from fundraising to marketing to sorting clothes; we couldn’t do it without your help.
We very much hope that you enjoyed your experience with HARC and look forward to seeing you all again in 2016! We’ll be in contact soon with a ‘feedback form’ to hear what you have to say. We very much value your comments as these enable us to make improvements each year to ensure that the project runs as smoothly as possible.
By means of a ‘thank you’ to all of you that have kindly volunteered, we would like to express our gratitude by inviting you to come and have a buffet meal with us, as our guest.
We look forward to seeing you at the HARC Social night.
